Hamilton, MT : Three people are dead and two are injured after a two-vehicle crash on Sunday, August 13, 2017

Three people are dead and two are injured after a two-vehicle crash Sunday afternoon near Helena.

The crash was reported around 1 p.m. on Highway 12 about 13 miles east of Helena.

The Montana Highway Patrol reported a pickup truck crossed the center line and crashed into a sedan, killing the male, female and infant in the sedan. The two people in the pickup were transported to St. Peter’s Hospital in Helena.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
