Fernandina Beach, FL : David Ronald Lee Jr., 51, dead after a one-car crash in Nassau County on Monday evening, April 4, 2016

One person is dead after a one-car crash in Nassau County Monday evening, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The FHP report states that a car being driven by Rose Maria Abron Green, 57, on south Crandall Road lost control and rotated counter-clockwise. As the car was rotating, it traveled in a southeasterly direction. The car eventually overturned onto its right side in a ditch .

Troopers say that the crash caused David Ronald Lee Jr., 51, to be partially ejected. FHP states the car came to a stop on top of Lee's upper body.

Lee was pronounced dead at the scene. Green and another passenger, Patricia Lynn Morache, 59, suffered minor injuries.

FHP is continuing to investigate the crash,
