Portland ,OR : Driver crashes through front doors of a Portland Plaid Pantry on Saturday ,August 1st 2015

A woman hit the gas instead of the brakes while in a Portland convenience store parking lot on Saturday, sending her car through the glass doors into the store.

Portland Police said it happened around 10:45 a.m. Saturday at the Plaid Pantry on Northeast 82nd and Tillamook Street.

Both the driver and a customer were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

Police didn’t issue the driver a citation.

Portland Fire's Urban Search & Rescue unit was called out to make sure the structure was safe and didn't collapse.
