Columbia, SC : 30-year-old Janikque Keitt died in a crash on Interstate 77 near the Bluff Road exit on Sunday, March 27, 2016

Richland County Coroner Gary Watts has identified a 30-year-old woman as the deceased in a crash that tied up traffic for hours on Interstate 77 on Sunday.

Watts says Janikque Keitt was a passenger in the car that crashed into a guard rail. The coroner says Keitt died at the scene due to injuries sustained in the crash.

South Carolina Highway Patrol officials say the accident happened between mile markers 5 and 6 near the Bluff Road exit. The crash was reported shortly before 9:30 a.m. Sunday.

Officials say a car traveling south lost control, running off one side of the road and then the other. It struck a guard rail and bridge.
