McCracken, KY :Overnight crash in McCracken County injures truck driver on Tuesday, July 7th 2015

A truck driver is in the hospital after a late-night crash in McCracken County, Kentucky.Deputies say the accident happened just before midnight on US 60.Investigators identify the driver as Gladys Waters.Deputies say Waters was driving a 2011 Freightliner tractor trailer west on US 60, when she ran off the road into the ditch.Police say Waters over-corrected, and flipped the cab of her truck onto its passenger side. It came to rest in the east bound ditch.The trailer remained blocking both lanes of US 60 for about three hours.An ambulance took Waters to the hospital to be treated for what police call non-life threatening injuries.
