MEMPHIS, TN : 1 killed, 1 injured in industrial accident at Cargill on Tuesday, November 15th 2016

A worker was killed and another was injured in a construction accident at Cargill.

Emergency crews rushed to the scene on Buoy Street near McKellar Lake around 10:45 a.m.

The workers involved in the accident have not been identified.

The injured man was taken to the hospital in non-critical condition.

Memphis Police Department said a wall collapsed during demolition at the plant. No gas or chemical leaks have been reported, so investigators said the accident presents no hazard for the community.
