Colorado Springs, CO : One person killed in a crash in southeast Colorado Springs on Friday, March 4, 2016

One person was reportedly killed in a crash late Friday at South Academy Boulevard and East Milton Proby Parkway in southeast Colorado Springs.

Per tweets from Colorado Springs Police and the Colorado Springs Fire Department, all lanes were blocked as of 10:45 p.m. Motorists were asked to avoid the area due to "significant traffic delays." The fire department tweeted at approximately 10:20 p.m. a "working extrication in progress," meaning at least one person needed to be cut from a vehicle.

KRDO NewsChannel 13 reported that one person died in the crash.

Further details about the crash were not available as of 11:10 p.m. Friday.
