Portland, OR : Woman critically hurt in rollover crash on I-5 late sunday night on June 22, 2014

A woman was critically injured in a rollover crash on Interstate 5 late Sunday night.

Portland police said preliminary investigation indicates excessive speed and alcohol were factors in the crash.

The crash occurred on I-5 northbound at Rosa Parks Way just before midnight.

The woman was thrown from the vehicle during the crash. Paramedics took her to a Portland hospital where she is in critical condition.

Police closed I-5 for several hours during their investigation.

The woman’s name has not been released.
