ESCAMBIA COUNTY, FL : 28-year-old man critically injured in motorcycle crash in north Escambia County on Sunday, 18th August 2024

A 28-year-old Flomaton man was critically injured in a motorcycle crash Sunday night in north Escambia County.

It happened around 8:25 p.m. on Old Flomaton Road, approximately two miles south of the Alabama line.

Florida Highway Patrol says the2013 Harley Davidson motorcycle drove off the roadway, the driver lost control and crashed.

The 28-year-old man and his passenger -- a 25-year-old Bay Minette man -- were thrown from the motorcycle.

The 28-year-old was flown by helicopter as a trauma alert to a local trauma center with critical injuries.
