FLINT, MI : Two dead, one critically injured in I-475 crash on Thursday, 9th November 2023

A head-on crash caused by a wrong-way driver on I-475 killed two people and left a third in critical condition late Thursday.

The Flint Police Department says a Buick Regal was driving south in the northbound lanes of I-475 around 8:45 p.m. when it crashed head-on into a Jeep Cherokee traveling north near Broadway Boulevard.

Police say 19-year-old Marshawn Turnipseed and 39-year-old Cassie Lynn Garcia were pronounced dead on the scene while 20-year-old Niaisa Anijah Sanders was listed in critical condition at Hurley Medical Center on Friday.
