West Duluth, MN : Car crashes into West Duluth home at 4216 Grand Ave on Wednesday, 11th July 2018

A driver smashed into the front porch of a home around 3:48 p.m. Wednesday at 4216 Grand Ave.

Capt. Matt Johnson of Duluth Fire-Rescue said the weight of the porch overhang was being supported by a single beam after the incident. "I thought the house got hit by lightning. The whole house shook," tenant Joe John said. John was a couple feet from the front door when the car hit.
