Lanett, AL : One man killed in struck by car near Lanett Alabama on Thursday November 5 2015

A one-car crash killed a Valley, Ala., man who was struck on Chambers County 186 near Lanett Thursday, the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency said.
The victim was identified as Robert Johns Jr., 46, of Valley.
Authorities arrested Darryl Grover Hill, 50, of Lanett. Hill faces one count of felony leaving the scene of a crash involving a death or injury and placed in the Chambers County Jail.
Hill, the driver of a 2001 Buick LeSabre, was located a short time after the crash with help from the Chambers County Sheriff's Office. He was taken into custody by Alabama State Troopers.
The crash occurred about 5:50 p.m. on Chambers County 186, one half-mile west of Lanett. The crash remains under investigation by troopers.
