Gatesville, TX : Clifton woman dies in Coryell County accident early Monday morning, January 30, 2017
A Clifton woman died in a two-vehicle accident early this morning a few miles north of Gatesville in Coryell County, the Texas Department of Public Safety said.
Natalie Hiebert, 25, drove a 2000 Toyota passenger van that stopped at about 7:35 a.m. on FM 192 at the intersection with State Highway 36. Hiebert’s vehicle pulled into the path of a 2006 Ford SUV going north on SH 36, and the Ford hit the Toyota in the driver’s side, immediately killing Hiebert, DPS Sgt. Dave Roberts said.
The SUV was driven by a 15-year-old girl from Gatesville with two passengers, Jennifer Turner, 36, of Gatesville, and a 17-year-old girl, also of Gatesville.
Hiebert was pronounced dead by Coryell County Justice of the Peace Coy Latham.
Turner was air lifted to Scott & White Medical Center-Temple, and the two juveniles in the Ford were taken to Coryell Memorial Hospital by ambulance.
No charges are pending, Roberts said.
