DURHAM, NC : A school bus from Hillside High School was involved in a collision on Tuesday, October, 31st 2017

A school bus from Hillside High School was involved in a collision with an SUV on Tuesday afternoon.

Durham Public Schools spokesman Chip Suddreth said the bus was carrying three students.

Two student were transported to the hospital. One student was picked up at the scene by a parent.

Authorities are investigating the incident that occurred at the intersection of Cook Road and Martin Luther King Boulevard. The bus was stopped at an intersection and began moving when the light turned green. The SUV came through the intersection and struck the bus, investigators said.
