Allenton, WI : Head-on collision injures three on thursday June 12th 2014
A vehicle was involved in a head-on collision with an eastbound pickup truck Thursday evening in Allenton, according to a news release from the Washington County Sheriff's Office.
West Bend Police responded to a report of erratic driving on E. Washington St. near the intersection with S. River Rd. 7:26 p.m. but were unable to locate the vehicle, the release said.
A Washington County sheriff's deputy saw the vehicle traveling westbound at a high rate of speed about 7:52 p.m. and finally located the vehicle following the crash near the intersection of Main and Church streets.
The driver and passenger of the suspect vehicle were transported by ambulance to St. Joseph's Hospital for serious injuries, and the driver was later transferred to Froedtert Hospital by Flight for Life. Ambulance transported the driver and sole occupant of the eastbound pickup truck to Aurora Medical Center in Hartford for minor injuries.
Alcohol and speed appear to be factors in the crash, but no additional details, including the type of vehicle or name, age or gender of those involved, is being released, according to the release.
