Oklahoma City,OK : Oklahoma City man dies after crashing vehicle during chase on June, Sunday 18th 2017

An Oklahoma City man died Sunday morning after crashing a vehicle during a chase with Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers on the northeast side.

Troopers were pursuing a vehicle around 1:45 a.m. in the northbound lane of Sooner Road when the driver couldn't handle a turn at Northeast 36th Street, according to an accident report. The vehicle left the road, hit a tree and flipped over, coming to a rest on its top.

The driver, Paul Kimble, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The cause of the crash and Kimble's condition at the time of the chase are under investigation.
