Odessa,TX : Five die in 191 wreck on July, Sunday 2nd 2017

Five people were killed in a two-vehicle head-on crash on Highway 191 on Sunday evening, including a 27-year-old Odessa mother and her daughters aged 6 years old and 6 weeks old.
Midland police reported the mother, Kelly Brooks, turned onto the highway from 1788 into oncoming traffic. A 9-1-1 caller reported seeing the Nissan Maxima traveling the wrong way at about 11:30 p.m., shortly before the wreck, spokeswoman Rachel Walker said.
The Nissan collided head-on with a Toyota Tundra traveling west. The motorists in the Toyota, 40-year-old Nguon Tang and 41-year-old Augustin Esquivel also died.
Police identified the children traveling with Brooks as Bailey Gonzales, who was six weeks old, and Kadyn Pitts, who was six-years-old.
All of the victims of the crash were pronounced dead at the scene, which was about 2.5 miles east of County Road 1275, north of Midland International Air and Space Port.
Police were still investigating the wreck, including any contributing factors, on Monday.
