Shaftsbury, VT : Driver crashes into utility pole on Route 67 West in Shaftsbury on Monday morning, March 30, 2015

Slick roads are blamed for a crash Monday morning that broke a utility pole.

Police say the driver went off Route 67 West in Shaftsbury and hit the pole, breaking it in half.

Green Mountain Power had to come and fix that.

The driver suffered minor injures and was cited for driving too fast for conditions.
