Poughkeepsie, NY : Motorcyclist injured in crash on Maple Street on Saturday, April 30, 2016

A motorcyclist was injured in a crash at the intersection of Corlies Avenue and Maple Street in the City of Poughkeepsie Saturday.

City of Poughkeepsie police confirmed the crash had occurred around 2 p.m.

Traffic was backed up for two hours on Route 44 as EMTs and police investigated and cleared the scene.

The motorcyclist was taken to MidHudson Regional Hospital of Westchester Medical Center in Poughkeepsie. The motorcyclist's condition and identity has not been released by police at this time.

The crash is still under investigation, police said.
