Jackson,MS : Police identify woman killed after car crashes into ravine on May,Monday 28th 2018

A woman was killed when her car left the road on I-55 SB at the stack in Rankin County.She has been identified as 35-year-old Cassie J. Peeples of Lexington.Police say her maroon Malibu crashed into a ravine and she was pronounced dead on the scene. According to troopers, the driver was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the wreck.The investigation is ongoing as authorities work to figure out what caused this wreck.
