SOUTHINGTON, CT : Two separate accidents on Interstate 84 on Thursday, November, 2nd 2017

Police responded to two separate accidents on Interstate 84 shortly after 8 this morning.

As of 8:45 a.m., both crashes had been cleared.

At 8:12 a.m., a vehicle crashed on I-84 eastbound between Exits 30 and 31, according to the state Department of Transportation. Police closed the left lane.

Minutes earlier, at 8:07 a.m., two vehicles crashes on I-84 westbound between Exits 31 and 30, causing the right lane to be closed.

Traffic was delayed on both sides of the highway.
