A 43-year-old man was seriously injured in a one-car accident in Brooklyn Park on Friday afternoon.
At about 1:15 p.m., the Anne Arundel County Fire Department responded to a crash on the ramp from Route 10 to the Baltimore Beltway, officials said.
The man's vehicle went off the road and struck a pole, said Capt. Michael Pfaltzgraff, a fire department spokesman. First responders took him to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore by ambulance, Pfaltzgraff said.
The man's condition was not life-threatening, he said.
