Detroit Lakes, MN : Crime & accidents around Becker County on Wednesday, 25th April 2018

At 9:46 a.m., a vehicle reportedly knocked over a street sign on Holmes Street in Detroit Lakes. The sign was undamaged and reinstalled.

At 10:29 a.m., a minor motor vehicle accident was reported on Summit Avenue in Detroit Lakes. There were no injuries.

• At 3:06 p.m., a vehicle reportedly backed into another vehicle on Lake Avenue in Detroit Lakes. There were no injuries.

• At 4:26 p.m., a fire was reportedly getting close to a shed at a residence on Wolf Clan Lane in Ogema. White Earth Forestry extinguished the fire; no further assistance was needed.

• At 6:56 p.m., a fire was reported at an assisted living facility on Madison Avenue in Detroit Lakes. A resident reportedly overcooked some buns in the microwave.

• At 8:58 p.m., a motor vehicle accident was reported at the intersection of Highway 59 and Wheeler Lake Road in Detroit Lakes. There were no injuries.
