A man has died in a single vehicle crash. According to Williamsburg County Deputy Coroner Vernal Fulton, Clarence Scott, 71, of Kingstree died as a result of his injuries when his motorcycle crashed.
According to South Carolina High Patrol Lance Corporal Matt Sutter, on Saturday, August 26, around 1:00 p.m., Fulton was traveling southbound on Simms Reach Road on a 2013 Harley Davidson when he ran off the right side of the road, overturned and struck a guardrail. He was wearing a helmet. The collision continues to be under investigation by the Highway Patrol.
