A driver was killed Tuesday night when his vehicle flipped over in the median of Interstate 40 in Pulaski County, ejecting him, Arkansas State Police said.
The man was identified as Ronald Frazier, 73, of Vilonia, according to a state police report.
The accident occurred shortly after 9 p.m. Monday as Frazier's 2002 Ford was headed east near the 146 mile marker, which is about a mile west of Interstate 430.
It was the third deadly wreck and fourth fatality recorded along I-40 in Pulaski County since Sunday. A driver and passenger were killed Sunday night near Interstate 440 when a truck hit their vehicle from behind and a driver died Monday morning
when his vehicle ran off the highway and hit a tree at the Maumelle exit.
Police said conditions at the time of Tuesday's wreck were clear and dry.
There have been at least 180 deaths in vehicle crashes on Arkansas roads so far this year, according to preliminary figures.
