WICHITA, KS : 2 killed, 2 hurt in crashes on Kansas Turnpike south of Wichita on Monday, 11th November 2024
Two people are dead and two others are in the hospital following multiple crashes on the Kansas Turnpike early Monday morning.
It happened at around 4:30 a.m. on northbound I-35 between 95th and 103rd streets. Capt. David Hundley with the Kansas Highway Patrol said a semi tractor hit a deer, swerved and struck the inside barrier wall. A second vehicle collided with that truck. A second semi pulled over on the shoulder, and a northbound passenger car struck that semi.
Two people from Minnesota in the passenger car died at the scene. Their names have not been released.
