Auburn, AL : 3 injured in crash at the 323-mile marker, near Auburn on Sunday, 22nd December, 2019
Three people were injured in a crash on Interstate 69 Sunday.
Indiana State Troopers were called to the crash at the 323-mile marker, near Auburn, just before 2 p.m., state police said.
Investigators believe a 2012 Nissan Rogue was going south on the interstate when it left the road and went into the grass median. The driver, Anne Reitz, 60, of Angola overcorrected, causing the car to cross both southbound lanes of the interstate and land in a ditch on the west side of the road, hitting two trees before coming to a stop.
Reitz and her two passengers were all wearing seat belts at the time of the crash and all the air bag systems deployed. All three were taken to Parkview Regional Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.
