BARING, MO : Teen injured in ATV crash in farm field on Wednesday, March 15th 2017

A Wildwood teen was injured in a Wednesday afternoon ATV crash southeast of Baring.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports a 2014 Polaris ATV driven by Lindsey J. Stelzer, 13, was westbound in a farm field near 50235 Bridge Creek Ave., four miles southeast of Baring, at 4 p.m. The patrol said the ATV attempted to make a right turn and struck a ditch, ejecting the driver.

Stelzer was taken by Air Evac to Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Ill., with minor injuries.

The patrol was assisted by the Knox County Sheriff's Department and Knox County Ambulance and EMS.
