Tucson, AZ : 21-year-old Daniel Evans killed in a single vehicle collision south of Prudence Road on Monday morning, April 20, 2015
A 21-year-old man, identified as Daniel Evans was killed in an early morning crash in the 3100 block of South Prudence Road, according to the Tucson Police Department.
The collision occurred just before 1:30 a.m. this morning. TPD officers and Tucson Fire Department crews responded to a report of a single vehicle collision. When crews arrived on scene they found Evans with life-threatening injuries, he was transported to Banner University Medical Center, where he died from those injuries.
Detectives with TPD Traffic Investigations Unit continued the investigation. According to TPD the detectives were able to determine that Evans had allegedly been driving at a high rate of speed heading northbound on Prudence when he lost control and hit the block wall of a home on 7502 East 42nd Street.
TPD is continuing the investigation to determine if the driver was wearing a seatbelt and if alcohol was a factor in the collision.
