Orlinda, TN : One person was died and two people was injured on Tuesday crash September 23 2014.

A woman died Thursday of injuries sustained in a wrong-way crash on Interstate 24 in Robertson County overnight Tuesday. Joy Barnes, 68, was travelling in northbound lanes when another vehicle, driven by 39-year-old Danny Polak, struck her head-on. The crash happened at 10:50 p.m. near mile marker 117 in Orlinda. Both drivers had to be extricated from their cars. LifeFlight helicopters were call to the scene. Barnes, her passenger and Polak were all transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. Barnes died of her injuries Thursday.
