Cullman, AL : Baileyton man killed in crash on Alabama 69 near Cullman Sunday morning on September 28, 2014

A single-vehicle crash Sunday, Sept. 28, claimed the life of a Baileyton man. Johny Phillips, 44, was killed when the 2001 Dodge Ram pickup he was driving left the roadway and struck an embankment, according to an Alabama State Trooper report. The crash occurred at 4:22 a.m. on Alabama 69 at the 250 mile marker, two miles east of Cullman. Phillips was not wearing a seat belt.
