Wayland, MO : Kahoka man injured in crash southwest of Wayland early Wednesday, July 27, 2016

A Kahoka man was injured in an early Wednesday crash southwest of Wayland.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported a 1994 Chevrolet truck driven by Travis D. Heinze, 26, of Kahoka, was northbound on Clark County Road 183, 2.5 miles southwest of Wayland, at 12:15 a.m. when it failed to negotiate a curve, overturned and came to rest on its wheels. Heinze, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected, the patrol said.

He was taken by Clark County Ambulance to Keokuk Area Hospital in Keokuk, Iowa.

The patrol was assisted by Clark County Sheriff's Department, Clark County Ambulance, Clark County Rescue and Wayland Fire Department.
