Hickory ,NC : 21-year-old Steffan Robinson charged after cyclist hit and killed in Hickory on Monday mornin ,August 3rd 2015

Police were investigating a crash that left a bicyclist dead early Monday morning in Hickory.

Officers said 21-year-old Steffan Robinson crossed into the southbound lanes of North Center Street and struck a 29-year-old cyclist around 8 a.m.
Robinson's car then hit a power pole and another vehicle at Clark Tire.
Investigators said the impact of the collision threw the cyclist roughly 50 feet.
