BERNIE, MO : 73-year-old man dead after crashing vehicle in ditch on Sunday, 25th February 2024

One man is dead after crashing into a ditch over the weekend in southeast Missouri.

Missouri State Highway Patrol (MSHP) said the crash happened along Highway 25, just two miles north of Bernie at 2:45 p.m. on February 24.

Christopher Lenko, 73 of Campbell, was driving a 2000 Chrysler Sebring north on Highway 25 when the vehicle traveled off the left side of the road and hit a ditch, MSHP said in a crash report.
