Jefferson County, WA : Motorcyclist airlifted after crashing on SR 104 Sunday afternoon, May 1, 2016

A motorcyclist was airlifted to Harborview Medical Center after crashing on State Route 104 in Jefferson County Sunday afternoon, May 1.
According to the Washington State Patrol, Marcus J. Ross, 21, of Puyallup was riding a white 2007 Honda CBR 600 motorcycle westbound SR 104.
About 3:44 p.m. May 1, Ross was attempting to pass at milepost 5 (between Center Road and Sandy Shore Road), lost control, crossed the eastbound lanes, and came to rest on the eastbound lane’s shoulder. He was wearing a helmet.
According to the state patrol, the accident’s cause is unsafe passing and citation is negligent driving, second degree.
The motorcycle was damaged, and towed.
