Interstate 4 in Volusia County reopened Wednesday afternoon after a fiery, rollover crash.
The wreck happened around 1 p.m. on I-4 east at mile marker 127 between State Road 44 and U.S. Highway 92 in DeLand. All eastbound lanes were closed but later reopened.
Florida Highway Patrol said the driver lost control of the vehicle and struck a guardrail, flipping the car.
The driver then got out of the vehicle, which caught fire and became fully engulfed in flames, troopers said.
Video from News 6 helicopter Sky 6 showed the charred car on its side on the shoulder of the interstate.
The driver was taken to Halifax Hospital with minor injuries, the FHP said.
