DAVENPORT, IL : One driver dies in multi-vehicle accident in Davenport on Sunday, February 19th 2017

There was one death in a multi-vehicle accident at about 5:50 p.m. on Sunday on River Drive in Davenport.

According to a media release, Davenport Police and Davenport Fire and EMS were sent to River Drive, east of Concord Street, for a multi-vehicle accident. They found three vehicles in the accident, one of which was a motorcycle. The driver of the motorcycle suffered fatal injuries.

The driver's name has not been released yet.

The ongoing investigation into the accident is being conducted by the Traffic Safety Unit of the Davenport Police Department.
