MAXATAWNY TWP, PA : Crash closes 222 in Maxatawny Township on Friday, 8th September 2023

A two vehicle crash shut down Route 222 in Maxatawny Township Friday morning.

It happened around 9 a.m. in the area of Long Lane.

Authorities say an East Penn Manufacturing truck rear-ended another commercial vehicle causing the truck's load, which was batteries, to shift and leak.
