An apparent rollover wreck involving a SUV pulling a travel trailer sent a woman to a local hospital late Tuesday afternoon.
A Ford SUV pulling a family trailer eastbound on Interstate 10 crashed about 5 p.m. just east of U.S. Highway 331.
According to Tyler Shiltz, a first responder with Argyle Volunteer Fire Department, a woman believed to be the driver lost control and the vehicle apparently overturned along I-10.
The SUV sustained damage to the roof and windshield. The travel trailer appeared to be a complete loss.
The woman was taken by ambulance to a local hospital. A man believed to be a passenger had no apparent injuries; he walked to ambulance.
One lane of eastbound I-10 was closed to traffic as crews cleaned up the wreck.
Walton County sheriff’s deputies and DeFuniak Springs firefighters also responded to the crash.
No more details were available Tuesday night.
