Chesterfield County, VA : One person killed in fatal head-on crash near Branders Bridge Road on Saturday May 14, 2016.

A Roanoke-area man is facing charges after a head-on crash over the weekend that killed another driver in Chesterfield County.
Christopher B. Brasher, 32, of Daleville, is charged with DUI involuntary manslaughter and driving while intoxicated in connection with an accident about 8 p.m. Saturday in the 16700 block of Branders Bridge Road.
According to Chesterfield County police, a Dodge Ram truck was traveling south on Branders Bridge Road when it crossed the double yellow line into the northbound lanes and collided head-on with a Chevrolet Cruze. The driver of the Chevrolet, Dorothy D. Beach, 45, of the 14200 block of Glenmorgan Drive in Chesterfield, was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash. Brasher, the driver of the Dodge, was taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
