STEPHENS CITY, VA : A 46-year-old Iowa man and his 12-year-old son were killed on May, Saturday 6th 2017

A 46-year-old Iowa man and his 12-year-old son were killed Saturday morning on Interstate 81 in Frederick County when their vehicle was hit from behind by a tractor-trailer, according to Virginia State Police.

Mikhail Shmaydiy, who was driving a 2013 Mercedes Benz, and his son, Timothy Shmaydiy, died at the scene.
