Ventura, CA : One person injured in crash on Highway 126 near Ventura on Wednesday morning, January 28, 2015

One person was injured Wednesday morning in a crash on a Highway 126 overpass near Ventura, officials said.

The crash was reported about 6:40 a.m. on the Edwards Ranch Road overpass. The Ventura County Fire Department and California Highway Patrol responded.

The victim was transported to a hospital with minor injuries. One lane of the overpass was temporarily closed for repairs related to another crash, according to the CHP. Further details were not available.
