A Pennsylvania man was killed in Marion County before sunrise Monday morning while walking along a roadway, according to the Florida Highway Patrol. Troopers said 41-year-old David Santavicca was wearing dark clothing as he walked along Southwest 60th Avenue just after 5 a,m. Investigators said Santavicca was in the path of a vehicle, and that the driver could not avoid him. Troopers are still investigating the crash, and charges could be forthcoming.
