Driver taken to hospital in Wikiup crash in Santa Rosa California

Traffic at Old Redwood Highway and Wikiup Drive north of Santa Rosa was blocked for more than an hour after a two-vehicle collision at 6 p.m. sent one person to the hospital.
A woman traveling north on Old Redwood Highway slammed into a car transport trailer being pulled by a truck. The truck was coming from a road near Wikiup Drive when the collision occurred, according to fire officials on the scene. The car was trapped under the trailer and the woman sustained moderate injuries.

She was transported to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital.The roadway was cleared and opened to traffic just after 7 p.m., the CHP said.
