Tampa, FL :Tampa man killed in pedestrian crash on U.S. 301 on Thursday, July 9th 2015

A 34-year-old Tampa man was hit and killed by a car on U.S. 301 overnight, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.Darryl Thomas Robinson was walking north on the highway in the southbound lane, troopers said. A northbound pickup driven by David Tidd, 25, of Zephyrhills, moved over to pass a car near Stacy Road, according to the FHP. Tidd moved into the southbound lane, troopers said, and hit Robinson, who died at the scene.
