June 16--Authorities are investigating a major vehicle crash with injuries Friday morning at North Cedar Avenue and Kenmore Drive in central Fresno.

The crash involved a truck carrying workers from the Fresno Economic Opportunities Commission and a passenger car. Several workers in the EOC vehicle were shaken up, but were not taken to a hospital.

CHP Officer Timothy Ray said a small white Honda sedan ran a stop sign at Kenmore Drive and Cedar Avenue and struck a Toyota Camry that then collided with a flatbed truck.

The white sedan ended up coming to rest against a house at Fairfax and Cedar avenues. Ray said the Honda driver fled the scene.

An ambulance took a woman from the crash scene.

A sheriff's helicopter was looking for two males who ran from the collision.

Fresno police, the California Highway Patrol and Fresno County sheriff's deputies were all at the scene, which is just south of McLane High School in an area where city and a county island converge.
