Lewis County, KY : 5-year-old killed, 2 other children hurt in crash Saturday in Lewis County on August 2, 2014

A 5-year-old boy was killed in a car crash Saturday in Lewis County, according to Kentucky State Police. Police said Steven R. Brown, 23, of Garrison was driving a 2003 Pontiac Vibe on Ky. 8 when he lost control in a curve and the car hit a tree. Brown's 5-year-old son, Quinton Brown, died in the crash. Brown's wife, Shyla Brown, 24, and children Makeya, 6, Max, 2, and Neveya, 1, also were injured in the wreck, trooper Joe Veeneman said. Shyla Brown was released after treatment, but Makeya and Max Brown were in critical condition, while Neveya was in stable condition, Veeneman said.
