The man, Jaron C. Pez, of Cincinnati, was driving a Toyota Carolla crossed the dividing line while going around a right-bound curve in the Springfield Township park. Pez's car struck a Chevrolet Malibu going in the opposite direction. Both vehicles rotated after the collision and Pez's car struck the Malibu a second time.

The five others involved in the crash were able to exit their vehicles on their own.

A 17-year-old male, Aaron Blanks, 18, and Nathan Virtell, 19, were riding in Pez's car.
The driver of the Tahoe, Chenika N. Freeman, 34, was not injured.
Police and paramedics remained on the scene until after 10 p.m.
The speed of Pez's car is believed to have contributed to the crash, according to the sheriff's office.
