Fort Lauderdale,FL : Fatal motorcycle wreck on Sheridan Street flips car on May, Friday 11th 2018

motorcyclist died after colliding with a car on Sheridan Street on Friday evening, Hollywood police said.

The car flipped onto its roof and the motorcycle was seemingly in its undercarriage.

A person who was in the car was taken to a hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening, said Officer Christian Lata, a spokesman for the police department.

The crash happened about 7:30 p.m. at 38th Avenue, immediately west of Topeekeegee Yugnee Park, he said.

Traffic homicide investigators were called to the scene.

Traffic had to detour while westbound Sheridan Street was closed at 34th Avenue.
