SPRINGFIELD, MO : Motorcyclist dies in crash in Springfield on Sunday, 20th October 2024

A motorcyclist died in a crash in Springfield on Sunday.

Officers responded to the intersection of Sunshine and Grant around 6:15 p.m. Investigators say the motorcyclist traveling west on Sunshine crashed into an SUV. The impact threw the motorcyclist off the bike.

He died at the scene. Police have not identified the motorcyclist killed.

Police closed part of the intersection for several hours to investigate the crash.
